
The Automobile Mechanical Workshops Center is a non-profit association that represents the interests of companies involved in the repair and maintenance of automotive machinery. It promotes proactivity and innovation, leading and promoting training, progress and unity among them.
It ensures the development and growth of companies, as well as formal, ethical and professional business behavior, in accordance with the expected quality. It seeks to promote the activity and its proper integration into the community, focusing on minimizing the environmental footprint.
In this second edition of EXPOCARGA, CTMA will be present to promote the benefits of the association that recently celebrated its 100 years of activity; In this regard, Javier Mussio, President of CTMA, said: “ Rereading the chronicles of this past century, I saw that the Center’s trajectory continues with the same principles of respect for the profession, customers and employees who provide the support and development of companies and their associates as possible.”
The calendar of educational activities carried out by CTMA is very important; several technical presentations are held annually by renowned professionals, both foreign and national, with extensive experience in the sector and at no cost to the member. Most of these presentations are organized and made possible thanks to companies that import or market products and brands, suppliers directly linked to the sector.
At its Professional Training Center, opened in 2011, CTMA began providing skills training and technical refresher courses aimed at professionals in mid-level and senior positions, with the aim of improving their qualifications quickly and in a short-term manner. On the other hand, it began working on the design, in the medium term, of a calendar of business management courses aimed at owners and middle managers.

REPRESENTATIVE ACTIVITY
The Board of Directors works with Subcommittees formed by managers, associates and partners. They form work teams on a specific topic, representing and defending the interests of the group in the public, private, governmental and state spheres. Currently active:

Mechanical Workshop Waste Management Project financed by Porgretec, with zero cost for the workshop company.
Integration of the tripartite scope of the negotiation scope of the Salary Council of the activity group subgroup no. 5, group no. 08 “metal products, machinery and equipment industries”.
Integration of the Sectoral Committee of Group 08 Subgroup 05 together with INEFOP and UNTRMA to carry out training for workers in the sector, which is 100% subsidized by INEFOP.

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
It is the area of comprehensive administrative support, collaborating with the partner for the good management of the company before state entities, with the guarantee of providing this service exclusively in the workshop sector, and directly for over 50 years.
For an additional subsidized fee thanks to our Civil Association status, members who entrust us with their administration have access to services such as settlement of salaries, licenses, vacations and bonuses, maintenance of Spreadsheets, preparation and presentation of Tax Returns, among others.
Committed and responsible work in the pursuit of business growth by Uruguayan workshops, with qualified personnel and vast experience, makes this area one of the pillars of the Institution.

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING CENTER (CCP)
A constant struggle for ongoing training, first of those professionals who competed with foreign industry, and then of those who now compete among themselves, in a market that is increasingly demanding in terms of technology applied to vehicles and diversity of brands and models. With a large number of micro and small companies competing, we can assure you that the difference will be made by their technical capacity and good business management.

Whether technical or management courses are taught by professors with extensive experience in higher education and proven professional prestige in the sector, which is a more than important strength for this vital project.
Furthermore, the Automobile Mechanics Workshop Center obtained registration as a Training Entity (ECA) from the National Institute of Employment and Vocational Training (INEFOP).
This allows member companies that wish to have access to INEFOP subsidies to train all their employees with subsidies of up to 80% of the cost of courses taught by our institution.
UTE FLEET REPAIR CONTRACT
The agreement between CTMA and UTE was signed so that participating companies can repair and maintain the state entity's fleet.
Operationally similar to the Agreement with the Ministry of the Interior; After the accession contract, the repair company participates in the random allocation of the work, which is carried out through software designed for this purpose.
Currently, the agreement foresees its start of operations soon, however, work is being carried out on the aforementioned software.

PAYMENT METHODS FOR QUOTES AND OVERQUOTES
The CTMA offers several payment options for social security contributions, undue payments and training. In addition to being visited monthly by the collector, you can make bank transfers, BROU and Santander deposits, pay at Abitab, pay with various credit cards and even sign up for automatic debit.
For companies that adhere to this new form of payment, the price of the basic tariff from the previous year will be frozen until the end of the new year 10/31/19.
